The project started with a broad theme of  “Sharing”. The explorations led to identification of social interactions as a possiblity, with the target space to be pubs. So the final brief was

design of a system for information/experience sharing which uses new modes of interactions while encouraging social interaction

The further design process led to identification of artefacts in the Pub so that the elements fit coherently into the space with any need of any alien object. We identified, the glass, the coaster and the stirrer as probable artefacts to work upon.

The above video tries to explain the concept using a typical Pub scenario. The boy and girl select there mood and motive preference, respectively by rotating the glass on coaster, using the marking on it as guideline. The matching happens, and feedback is directed to stirrers and a dynamic display.
